Calling all Capetonians…
The V&A Waterfront is hosting the Little Fighters charity event on the Saturday, the 24th of November 2012. It is to raise much needed funds for children with Cancer and to help make parents aware by educating them about the symptoms of childhood Cancer. There will be a 5km run/walk, a treasure hunt, live music, a magic show and many a prize to be won.
The Little Fighters Cancer Trust draws it’s inspiration from children who have no choice but to battle Cancer daily and the trails and tribulations their families face. We started this trust for cancer babies and their families to give relief to their financial difficulties. We are trying to raise money to help these families. Some of the parents lost their jobs and business because of the medical bills and because they want to give their children the best medical care. These people needs petrol money, food, clothes and money for Hospital and Doctor bills.
