You may have noticed, on the odd occasion, a bunch of crazy looking people cycling in masses along the Seapoint Promenade or through the city of Cape Town. They are the Moonlight Mass. On the eve of every full moon, these adventurous people meet up at Green Point Circle, at 9pm, before setting off on a 12km journey along the peninsula and through the city. What started as a social experiment on Twitter has turned into a celebration of every full moon (come clouded or cloudless sky) for as many as 1000 people at a time.
We definitely want to try this out some time. And for those of you who live in different cities, there are rumours of Johannesburg and Durban events. We’ll post more info when we have it but until then, check our Events Page for the next Cape Town date.
