Introducing… Whitehaven Beach in Queensland, Australia. Famous for its crystal clear aqua waters and pristine silica sand, it is the most photographed beach in Australia and has been named Queensland’s Most Beautiful Beach by various authorities on the matter. It really is not hard to understand why. It is also a top eco-friendly beach.
If you are ever fortunate enough to make it to this part of the world, the best view is said to be from the lookout at Tongue Point on Whitsunday Island. If you want to get the very best out of the journey, you need to time your visit for low tide, where you can fully experience the beautiful fusion of colours that surface as the ocean moves out.
