One of my favourite pastimes is a little thing called Pinterest. It’s not the first time I’ve mentioned it here, I even use it for sourcing a lot of the cool images I get to post. Pinterest is like an alternative Universe. You can get lost in a world of beautiful images in a matter of seconds. One of my favourite things to do is Pin places I want to visit one day. The list is getting absurdly long but that’s okay because it’s also about dreaming.
I recently read something in Condé Nast Traveller by Editor Melinda Stevens, at the end of her Editor’s Note. She said: “But then, there are the people that we are, and the people that we want to be. And sometimes one can be satisfied with the other. All we need to do is go on a happy journey, even if it’s only in our head.” This totally resonated with me and goes back to why I love places like Pinterest.
If you’re also into Pinterest, you’ll know exactly what I mean but if not, start here, at a little page I put together for the blog. It’s especially great to explore it at this time of year, when Summer is escaping us.
