Relaying for Rhinos

The magnificent creature that is the Rhino, is something that is very close to our hearts. And we have decided that we cannot simply sit back and watch as the problem with poaching escalates. We also acknowledge that no man is an island so we want to involve as much of our community as we can.

Introducing… The Kauai Rhino Relay

The relay race will be taking place on Friday, 12 April 2013, beginning at 7:30am at Kauai in Blue Route Mall and ending at Kauai in the V&A Waterfront after we’ve toured the peninsula, running from one Kauai store to the next, creating as much awareness as we can and raising as much as we can.

So, how can you get involved:

1) Share this info

2) Create some awareness for the cause

3) Donate to our Chief Marketing Officer, Diane St Clair Moor’s fundraising account. She has been asked to participate in the London Marathon on behalf of “Save The Rhino International” and we need a minimum of 2000 pounds for the entry. Find out more here.

4) Sponsor the relay by getting down to one of the Kauai stores and purchasing a Save The Rhino badge for only R5.

5) All of the above

P.S. If you buy a Save The Rhino badge when you buy a smoothie or anything else from Kauai, you can win a lunch with Siya Kolisi or one of the other Stormers.
