Top Gear Festival 2013

The Top Gear Festival is returning to Durban for its second year in a row. Organisers work on this festival all year round so you can just imagine how much time and energy goes into making the incredible line-up of cars and driving talent. It will be taking place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in the City of Durban on the 15th and 16th of June.

Here is a little bit about the festival…

Top Gear Festival is an extension of the Top Gear Live global tour, offering an exceptional Live Stadium Show and exhilarating Durban Street Circuit. A first of its kind in 2012, we are proud to announce the return to the Moses Mahbida Stadium and its surrounding precinct on 15-16 June 2013.

The Live Stadium Show: An action-packed seated stadium show created by the Top Gear production team. Presented by Clarkson, May, Hammond and The Stig – featuring local personalities, international stunt drivers and a whole host of Top Gear’s trademark special effects, smashes, crashes and customised cars.

The Street Circuit: 2012’s Festival saw Top Gear’s first ever Street Circuit and due to its success it is back again, only this time it’s bigger and better! Visitors will be able to see stunts, races, motoring challenges and some of the world’s greatest cars all on the streets of Durban.

Plus More Features: Visitors can also enjoy an exhibition crammed with some of the most stylish, rare & expensive cars ever made as well as the latest gadgets, luxury goods, car accessories & motoring technology. Our features will also include The Top Gear Street Circuit, The Motoring Pavilion (East and West), The Action Zone (including, Freestyle Motorcross Bikes, Shell Stunt School, and much more).

Throughout the day there will be a full timetable of special appearances by talent as they participate and commentate on a number of special Top Gear Festival challenges.
